Michael McMahon
(Founder)
Michael McMahon is an architect, researcher and curator working between Australia and the United Kingdom. He is a descendant of the Bundjalung people of North-East New South Wales, Australia and his work investigates how Indigenous ontologies of land can inform the built environment. Michael is a director of Indigenous Architecture and Design Victoria (IADV) and a practising architect with the architecture firm GroupTwo Zero and John Wardle Architects, working on civic and institutional projects throughout Australia.
Jack Isles
(Founder)
Jack Isles is an architect, researcher and cartographer working between Australia and Europe. His work focuses on the environmental agency of sensory technologies and alternative modes of environmental stewardship. Jack is a cartographer at Swiss based agency Border Forensics; documenting state sponsored violence at Europe’s borders, and a researcher with the European Research Council’s Hostile Environments project; investigating the effects of resource extraction and climate change on migration and human rights.
